About The Show

A wide-eyed optimist tries to convince a couple of skeptics to get on board with their distinctive, sometimes downright unusual obsession. But really, it’s just an excuse for silliness, games, and surprise guests. Hosted by Ben Cassil, Thayer Frechette, and Geoff Kaufman.

Leave your prestige dramas and raunchy sitcoms at the door, this week stand-up/online comedy person Candace Carrizales (@candacesucks) joins us to talk about shows aimed at kids ages 9-16! She claims that some kids shows (does Degrassi ring a bell?) have some real merit, and that they can be a form of art just as much as any prestige drama or raunchy sitcom you might see on TV. She also talks about laughing at the bad shows, but that’s just disrespectful. Along the way, Geoff and Candace feud about a dinner planning mix-up, Thayer talks about how he watches documentaries, and the gang develops their very own sitcom (spoilers: it’s The Office, but with kids instead of adults). So leave your prestige dramas and raunchy sitcoms behind and check it out!
